Whacky Races – Dads&Lads project

WHACKY RACES – for Dads&Lads in Lillington only!

2 high energy and hands-on workshops with LILLINGTON MAKERS at Southorn Community Space, The Crest, Lillington CV32 7PU

These two workshops are exclusively for boys 5+ with dads (or grandads, uncles!) who are resident in Lillington.  Free! with refreshments and snacks provided.

Workshop Dates and Times:
Friday 20th March 5pm-6.30pm
Friday 27th March 5pm-6.30pm

In this project Dads&Lads team up to design and construct their very own very Whacky Machine. Using wood, cardboard, wheels, and hand tools, you’ll sketch ideas, cut shapes, assemble frames, and bring your imaginative vehicle to life.

Will it be a jungle jeep or pirate ship on wheels?
The only limit is your imagination!

This project is all about teamwork and having a great laugh together while learning practical making skills in a safe, supervised setting.

No previous experience is needed, just enthusiasm and a willingness to get a little sawdust on your sleeves!

Location: 
Southorn Court community space – go past the library up Mason Avenue to the top and then hang a left when you’re facing a block of flats.  The next block of flats is Southorn Court with the colourful mosaic mural we created last March.
