FINE ART TO WELLBEING – Online
a free 6-week online creative self-development course for adults struggling with stress, anxiety and depression. To enrol you must be 18+ and living in Warwickshire.

Level of difficulty:  advanced
The course is designed for people who have already completed one Art for Wellbeing course with us, and for those who are now looking to further develop their self-awareness and creative thinking skills.

We think about creativity as making something new and original, but in fact the root meaning of creativity means ‘to grow’.

What you will learn

  • every week a different creative techniques including drawing, collage, mapping, to explore how Art can help you look at things from a fresh perspective
  • explore different self-development themes to better understand your own thoughts and feelings, and map a different way forward
  • learn to express yourself without pressure and to trust the creative process

What you will need:

  • mobile or laptop/PC with video and microphone
  • sheets of white A4 paper
  • pencil and rubber
  • colour pencils or felt tips
  • newspaper and/or magazine
  • glue (ideally a glue stick)
  • a comfortable and safe space you can work undisturbed

This course is co-delivered by Arty-Folks artists and members with lived experience.
