Come Connect

Sadly since the Covid-19 pandemic started we have not been able to offer in-person and immediate start to our art and wellbeing workshops as we need to keep participants safe as well as our artists.

We feel it’s more important than ever that we keep connected and not let anyone fall into loneliness and isolation.

We are now running fortnightly COME CONNECT sessions through Zoom that you can attend from the comfort of your own home.

We humans are very social creatures and we crave for the friendly, supportive and uplifting company of like-minded people.  Covid-19 is forcing us to keep physical distance but we can still connect with each other.

Come Connect and find out who is doing what when and where you can join in.

Come Connect is a very informal online space for an open chat, information sharing, and relaxing art activity in a very small group of people.

You can pop in for a couple minutes or stay for the entire 1 hour session.

Check with our Calendar for dates of fortnightly Monday sessions starting at 4pm.

We use Zoom and once you have booked we will email you the link to join.

You can download the Zoom app on your phone or use a PC/laptop with Google Chrome, Firefox or Safari.

You will need to have a webcam and microphone to get involved with activities and discussions but you are not required to have your camera on if you prefer not to.

Come Connect offers you

  • a safe space to share worries, tips for wellbeing and of course share some creative time together.
  • information about community groups and organisations in Coventry and Warwickshire that have activities going on right now that you can join either online or in person
  • art activity for relaxation and fun and for which you will only need paper and pen or pencil.
  • you can book a 30-minute one-to-one phone session with a Wellbeing Worker (to be arranged after the session) to help you connect.

You will need pen and paper to write down opportunities you are interested in and also for the art activity which will be easy to follow and very relaxing.

Come Connect is funded by the Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust.
