Painting for Pleasure – Lillington

PAINTING FOR PLEASURE – a free 5-week painting course for people who live in Lillington

We are offering this course to residents 16+ who want to learn painting with acrylics, meet new people, and get creative with a group of like-minded people.  All materials provided!

Course Dates:
The course will run in two venues Tuesdays on the following dates: 6.8. / 13.8. / 20.8. / 27.8. / 3.10.

Choose your Venue: 
You can choose to attend 10am-11.30am at Lillington Library     or     1pm-2.30pm at Lillington Community Centre

Level of difficulty:
This course is suitable for everyone, from beginners to advanced painters.  We will show you step by step how to express yourself, develop your own painterly style, and enjoy seeing your creativity blossom.

What you will learn:

• each week a new project that will improve your painting skills and confidence to mix a wide range of hues using just primary colours
• apply paint to achieve effects most suited to your painting
• create compelling designs and compositions
• and most of all – enjoy being creative with other local residents in a safe environment

What do I need to bring:
Nothing!  We will provide all art materials and refreshments, but we suggest that you bring an apron and make sure you don’t wear your best clothes!
