a free 6-week crafting course for adults living in and around Kenilworth who enjoy making things with a wide range of different materials.
All art materials to create a sanctuary for the home or garden are provided FREE!
Level of difficulty: Beginners and Intermediate
“Using simple materials and wool in so many different ways was fantastic! It was so absorbing and it really took my mind off all the negative things that are going on. At the end of each session I had actually finished and accomplished beautiful objects that are now brightening up my home and garden. I now have so many ideas for future projects.”

Please note that you can only attend one course at any one time. Once you have completed your course, you may be able to book on a further course.
What you will learn
Each week you will learn a different craft using cheap or recycled materials. You will learn to incorporate mindfulness techniques into your arts practice and create your personal sanctuary. Projects you will complete:
- wall planter
- 8 point multi-layered Ojo de Dios
- dreamcatcher weaving
- macrame
- Mexican tin art
- crochet yarn bombing
Art for Wellbeing Warwickshire is a programme of workshops and courses for adults with low to moderate mental health needs commissioned by Warwickshire County Council.
