CREATIVE MEDITATIONS – evening

a free 3-week online evening course for adults who are in employment and are looking for creative ways to relax into the evening. To enrol you must be 18+ and living in Warwickshire.

Level of difficulty all skill levels
The course is designed for people who would like to explore journaling and expressive writing, using water colours, and meditative practices to step back from work and stressful ruminations.

Wednesday   2nd February, 7pm-8.30pm

How to book a place 
Register your place by clicking on the orange ‘Register Now’ button you can see on top right.  You will then receive an email confirmation with the Zoom link.
When you’re registering your place, your email will automatically be added to our newsletter, if you do not wish to be notified about our courses in the future you can unsubscribe here.  Please note that you can only attend one course at any one time.  Once you have completed your course, you may be able to book on a further course.

What you will learn:

  • each workshop will begin with expressive writing and reflecting on a particular theme
  • we will learn Qigong, the ancient Chinese self-healing practice that combines movement, breathing, and mental visualising
  • we will use water colours and a range of pens and markers to enhance mental and physical energies

Artists Lorella and Liz will show you how to combine the different techniques and will work alongside you.  By the end of the course you will be more confident to use your creative skills for mindfulness.

What you will need

  • water colours, brushes, water colour paper
  • black fine liner, gel pens, glitter pens, stanley knife
  • good Internet connection/Wifi
  • Zoom app on mobile or laptop/PC with video and microphone

Art for Wellbeing Warwickshire is a 2.5yr programme of workshops and courses for adults with low to moderate mental health needs commissioned by Warwickshire County Council.
