Wall of Hearts

We want our Hand on Heart exhibition to be open to everyone and to spark more honest and creative conversations about how art supports mental wellbeing, how being creative helps to work through difficult life experiences, and how we find connection and belonging through our arts practice.

The idea for an interactive art piece was sparked in Lillington by members of our Lillington Makers watercolour group who created the first 10 canvases. During the exhibition we invited visitors to create their own designs and exhibit their canvases together with us in an installation that grew to over 120 pieces.

In this calm and relaxing space people of all ages and backgrounds sat down to create, reflect, and talk honestly about how they are feeling in the here and now.

, create an art piece and hang it on the wall and be part of our exhibition.
