SEGRO awarded Arty-Folks £1,000 Covid emergency funding to help us towards covering our annual core running costs.  Arty-Folks spends yearly around £5,000 on unavoidable costs such as rent, utilities, phone/internet, office supplies, insurance and accountants, and we do our best to keep these costs as low as possible.

This SEGRO Centenary Fund will make a huge difference to a small charity like ours as it will cover 25% of our overheads, i.e. it will keep us afloat for 4 months at a time when all our energy goes into supporting our members to remain engaged and mentally as well as possible.

This £1,000 award will allow us to worry a bit less about immediate survival and focus a lot more on supporting our members across Coventry and Warwickshire. We have now transferred some of our face-to-face activities to digital platforms and we are exploring how we can reach out to people who lack digital skills or confidence or the equipment to go online.

SEGRO Centenary Fund is administered through the Heart of England Community Foundation.
