Miho – Hand on Heart

“Hand on Heart”
I just get going cos I don’t want to waste my time putting pieces together.
It’s my heart.
But I don’t know how I feel. Putting hand on heart, I realise I can’t feel anything.
It’s only tension.
Tension is the only thing I can feel.
But it’s temporary.
Warmth and tenderness are still within, though trapped in tension at the moment.
They are flowing out, flowing through quietly, but surely.
Hanging in the gallery, the object doesn’t look painful. The red fabric strings look bold, overshadowing the wired tension, piercing through the heart, and reaching out as if opening arms for embracement.
