Creative Meditations

Creative Meditations is a 6-week online course designed for adults who are housebound by illness, caring responsibilities, or employment.  This course will help you carve out invaluable ‘me-time’ and help you step back from the stresses and strains in your life.

Materials You Will Need

  • Watercolours, brushes, tissues, water pots
  • good quality watercolour paper
  • Black fine liner, gel pens, glitter pens, pencils, colour pencils
  • Scissors and a glue stick
  • hair drier

What You Will Learn

Each week, our experienced staff team will guide you through a new theme based on the ancient Chinese healing practice of Qi-Gong.  In these workshops we will introduce you to

  • Expressive writing exercises that will help you reflect and release your thoughts and emotions
  • Strengthening mental imagery through watercolours and mixed-media exercises
  • Meditative practices to help you stay present and let go of stressful ruminations
