Watercolour Painting- a FREE 5-week course with LILLINGTON MAKERS
at Southorn Community Space, The Crest, Lillington CV32 7PU

Are you a resident in Lillington and looking to learn new skills together with a bunch of friendly neighbours?

Join us and learn to paint with watercolours!

In this free 5-week course, we will introduce you to core techniques of watercolour painting and build your confidence to practice independently.  You’ll learn how to confidently use brushes, mix luminous colours, and master essential techniques like washes, layering, and wet-on-wet effects. Our experienced artists will guide you step by step to create your own expressive paintings, all in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Course Dates and Times:
This 5-week course starts on Monday 12th January, 1pm-2.30pm
Course dates: 23.2. / 2.3. / 9.3. / 16.3. / 23.3.

Location: 
Southorn Court community space – go past the library up Mason Avenue to the top, then hang a left when you’re facing a block of flats.  The next block of flats is Southorn Court with the colourful mosaic mural (Lillington Makers created it March ’25).

Who can join:

Total beginners to experienced painters are welcome.

Costs:
This 5-week course is completely FREE and we provide all materials and refreshments!
