Arty-Folks is seeking to meet growing demand for Art for Wellbeing and we are looking to expand our programme of work and geographical area. We are looking to talented practitioners who would like to work in a community setting:

CREATIVE PROGRAMME MANAGER

You will be working with an enthusiastic and skilled team of staff, sessional artists, volunteers and service users and your ability to foster a collaborative environment will be a driving force behind our collective achievements.

We are seeking a highly creative, organised, reliable, and inspiring Programme Manager who will spearhead new creative initiatives, will organise a comprehensive workflow, and responsible for projects from start to finish. We don’t have a rigid job description for you because we want you to lead from the front.

However, we are looking for someone experienced and with a strong understanding of Arty-Folks’ essence. You need to have strong connections with the cultural sector in Coventry as well as Warwickshire, and you will be responsible for crafting activities and partnerships that will bridge the gap to the most secluded and marginalized members of our communities.

COMMUNITY ARTIST

We are looking for a visual artist who is an amazing people-person, able to enthuse and empower communities through their creative mentality. You will be working with residents to design and run a programme of activities designed to bring people together and strengthen community networks.

You will design projects grounded in the local context of the community and that resonates with their values, experiences, and ambitions. Through art, you will support community members to raise awareness and advocate for positive social change. You will provide opportunities for people to celebrate the diversity of their community and to share individual stories, traditions and perspectives.

You will support local residents to learn new skills and grow in confidence to volunteer and contribute to the cultural fabric of the area, fostering connections, dialogue, and a sense of belonging.

Application process:

Please email us your CV highlighting your experience and 5 pics of your most recent artwork to info@arty-folks.org.uk. There is no application deadline as it’s more important to find the right person for our team. Our CEO Lorella Medici will contact you within 3 working days for an informal meeting.
